In a remarkable year marked by protests and a pandemic, the student journalists of Alice rose to the occasion by reporting on it all with grace and wit. This issue features the best articles published in Alice for the 2020-2021 academic year, with articles from the Change, Action, and Reinvention issues. The theme overall: Reinvention. As Alice Editor-in-Chief Annie Hollon puts it: “When first selected for this role a little over a year ago, I had no idea what to expect, even less so all that we’d accomplish in the face of a global pandemic. Less than two weeks away from the end of the academic year, I could not be more proud of the work we’ve been able to create and celebrate with the “Best of Volume Six” issue, the first of its kind for the magazine and the issue that makes this the most issues of Alice ever produced in a single volume.”
